The Pop-Up Makers are holding their second event as an official Fringe event, which will run from 10th–15th of August 2019. This time, the Pop-Up team are excited to welcome new designers, artists and makers into their collective. Now, a team of twenty will come together to showcase their work at the Whitespace Gallery, with a range of workshops running throughout the week.

The Pop-Up Makers are a diverse group of Edinburgh-based designers, makers, crafters, and artists. They function as a collective in bi-annual Pop-Up events with the shared aims of supporting and celebrating hand-made and slow-made goods.
The Pop-Up Makers represent a wide variety of artistic practices including bookbinding, hand-embroidery, basket weaving, soap making, graffiti painting, garment making, jewellery, wood work, candle making and pottery.

The Pop-Up Makers was founded in 2018 and held its first market as a Christmas Craft Shop at the Whitespace Gallery in Edinburgh, Scotland.
The aim one day is to have a studio workshop space to be able to provide space for artists, designers and makers to teach their skills and exhibit their work.
